Solo Project
This retail concept explores how adaptability can create a more personal connection between customers and furniture. The store is built around a modular chair system that customers can customize in real time, adjusting size and comfort to fit their body and preferences right there during the sales process.
The idea is that a chair isn't just an object you buy, it's something you physically interact with every day in your home. By making it adaptable on the spot, the connection between person and product becomes more intimate. You're not just picking from preset options, you're actively shaping what you're buying.
CONCEPT-ADAPTABILITY
The space itself reflects this concept. Exploded views of the chair appear throughout as installations and storage walls, showing how the modular pieces work together. The store feels more like an art showroom than a typical furniture store, where the product and the space are part of the same design language.
